Our Advantage

Where Innovation Takes Shape

The next generation of aerospace requires a different kind of real estate.

Highly specialized facilities must bring together offices, laboratories, manufacturing environments, infrastructure, and technical requirements within spaces designed around each organization’s mission.

At the Houston Spaceport, Griffin Partners has worked alongside leading aerospace companies to turn those requirements into purpose-built environments where their work can move forward.

Through select build-to-suit engagements, our team brings development expertise, creative problem-solving, and disciplined execution to projects that rarely come with a standard playbook.

By combining human expertise with technology and data-driven insight, we can evaluate opportunities earlier and with greater depth, solve complex development challenges, and execute projects designed to create long-term value.

Building on a Long History in Houston

Griffin Partners’ work at the Houston Spaceport builds on four decades of development experience in Houston’s NASA/Clear Lake area. Long before today’s commercial space industry began taking shape, Griffin was developing real estate, leading complex projects, and building relationships across the communities surrounding Johnson Space Center.

Our history provides a distinct advantage for a new generation of companies at the Houston Spaceport, combining deep local knowledge with the flexibility to execute highly specialized projects.

Featured Projects

  • Axiom Space

Griffin Partners worked with Axiom Space to develop its new headquarters at Houston Spaceport, bringing together corporate offices with a state-of-the-art laboratory and clean room.

The project also required development of a vehicle service road connecting Axiom's headquarters directly to Runway 4/22 at Ellington Field, extending the scope beyond the building itself to infrastructure supporting Axiom's operations.

  • Intuitive Machines

Griffin Partners supported the development of Intuitive Machines’ facilities at Houston Spaceport, helping move a complex, highly specialized project from agreement through completion.

Griffin’s role extended beyond development and construction, working with the City of Houston on contract and leasing matters, facilitating reimbursement funding, and helping keep the project moving toward timely completion.

  • Collins Aerospace

Griffin Partners partnered with Collins Aerospace to develop and construct its corporate headquarters within Houston Spaceport.

Over the course of 12 months, Griffin assisted in the design and construction of a specialized laboratory and manufacturing center alongside the company's new corporate offices.

Some Projects Require a Different Playbook

The work happening at Houston Spaceport is designed to move industries forward. Developing the places where that work happens requires the same willingness to challenge assumptions, solve unfamiliar problems, and find a better way forward.
